About Me

I'm an ex-ballerina turned graphic design major with a passion for writing.

I dedicated my entire childhood to vigorously training and traveling for various ballet competitions and performances. Despite all the name-calling (ex: pork chop) by intimidating Russian accents, I was driven by the way my soul came alive when I entered a new world on stage. After spending my senior year of high school dancing with The Washington Ballet company in DC, the ballerina career was not what I had expected, so I decided I wanted to pursue a new dream. 

 

A graphic design career intrigued me, so I returned to my home state, NY, and immersed myself in the design world at Pratt Institute. Not only did I meet my now-husband there, but I also found a new love for writing. I took as many writing classes as I could while finishing out my design degree. And it was during one of those classes that I wrote my first short story. A few months later I published it and turned it into a short film that has won awards in small film festivals.

 

After graduating as a graphic designer and wannabe writer, the agency formerly known as FCB Health NY generously took me under their wing as a Copywriter Intern. It didn’t take long for me to realize that this career is where I'm meant to be, and a few months later I was brought on to the team full-time. I have spent many years learning from the best of the best, and I'm also the proud co-parent of 2 DTC campaigns, Break the Cycle for Nexletol and Your Hormones Not Ours for Paragard.

 

Behind the screen, I'm running a circus at home of my husband, 2 kids, and 2 pups, and I'm always planning my next trip to Disney World (I also got married there).
